The Italian Niagara County Italian Festival will return to Lewiston's Academy Park for 2027.
Carmen Bianco will be back for more food, family, music and culture.
2026 was his first go. There were some first year issues – the trash could have been emptied more often and a vendor had an issue but for a first year it came off OK.
A vendor dispute initially looked bad for Bianco but eventually was resolved when Bianco explained the vendor in question paid to sell spices and garlic, not food -- they checked a different box in an attempt to cheat the festival and got upset when called on it.
