Food Truck Thursday tries again
NIAGARA FALLS, NY – The City of Niagara Falls has announced this year’s details for Food Truck Thursdays hosted at The Niagara Falls Train Station, located at 825 Depot Ave West. From 11 AM – 2 PM (rain or shine) every Thursday until August 27th, residents and visitors can enjoy live entertainment and local food vendors. Free parking will be available.
“After a long cold winter, summertime provides a great opportunity for residents and visitors alike to mingle and enjoy community events and gatherings,” said City of Niagara Falls Mayor Robert Restaino. “Thanks to the participation of local food establishments, entertainers, and the Niagara Falls Train Station, this will be the ninth consecutive summer the city has offered Food Truck Thursdays.”
This year’s food vendors include local favorites such as Dirty Bird Chicken & Waffles, Fat Bob’s BBQ, Steaksters, The Sangwich Mother, The Rolling Cannoli, and Layers Handcrafted Sandwiches. New to this year’s lineup is the Smash & Roll Food Truck, serving smashburgers, loaded fries, and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
In addition to the lunch cuisine options, attendees can look forward to entertainment by local performers Custode & Parisi, Thomas Tedseco from HYWATER, and Will Holton.
The weekly schedule can be found on the city’s website (https://www.niagarafallsny.gov/) and Facebook and Instagram pages. Residents can also sign up for text reminders regarding events around the city by texting RESIDENT to 716-325-5723.
