TRESPASSING: A Ferry Avenue man, banned from the Casino back in April, returned at 8:10 a.m. Saturday on an electric scooter wearing a ski mask. He claimed he had a knife and hammer as he rode his scooter through the casino. Police took him into custody on a charge of criminal trespassing.
DWI: Police were called to Walnut Avenue and Portage Road at 12:44 p.m. Saturday when a vehicle driven by a man whose name was redacted from the report rear-ended another car. The driver failed field sobriety tests and was charged with DWI and following too closely.
DWI: A 17th Street man was charged with DWI and criminal possession of stolen property at about 5:21 p.m. Sunday after he fell of a motorcycle at Ferry Avenue and Portage Road. Police found him lying on the sidewalk. He was unable to produce ID until officers assisted him in retrieving his wallet from his back pocket. Asked how much he had to drink, the suspect said “a lot.” The plates on his motorcycle were stolen. He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and driving while intoxicated.
