That was not a lucky Josh Doan bounce

The Sabres have now won 10 of their last 11. I stayed up to watch about half the game last night. In the first period, Josh Doan chased goalie Aiden Hill behind the net. Hill coughed up the puck and scrambled to his crease. Doan shot the puck to the front and it bounced in off the goalie’s pads. It seemed like a lucky bounce until intermission when Marty Biron explained players practice that ricochet for when they get the chance.
