SHOPLIFTING: A North Avenue resident known well by police was charged with petit larceny at 11:10 a.m. Thursday after allegedly taking 6 boxes of Snickers ice cream bars and two bags of M&M’s from Pine Avenue Dollar General without paying.
GRAND LARCENY: Police conducting a routine premise check near 2137 Fairfield Avenue observed suspects who didn’t belong at about 5:51 p.m. Thursday. One man gave a false name. As he was questioned, a second suspect emerged from the building. Goods valued in excess of $12,000 were recovered. Charges include burglary, criminal possession of stolen property and false impersonation.
