FALSE IDENTITY: A man pushing a Tops cart in the street near 18th and Willow gave police a false name multiple times before they took him into custody and identified him as wanted on rimultiple warrants shortly after midnight Sunday. The added a charge of criminal impersonation.

DWI: At 3:25 a.m. Saturday, an officer on patrol on Buffalo Avenue near 84th Street observed a vehicle approaching at a radar-confirmed speed of 48 mph in a 30 mph zone. Officers turned on emergency lights signalling the driver to stop but they kept going. The officer turned around and followed the erratically driven Toyota as it turned on South 84th Street. A passenger in the vehicle was facing the wrong way in the seat with no belt on. The suspect failed multiple field sobriety tests and refused a Breath-a-Lyzer at the scene. At the police station he blew a .24% BAC. An open bottle of tequila was recovered. The passenger was taken into custody on a charge of criminal impersonation. He was hiding from a warrant. The driver was charged with DWI, Aggravated DWI, drinking alcohol in a vehicle and speed in zone.
