SHOPLIFTING: A Chilton Avenue man was charged with petit larceny at about 8:04 p.m. Friday after an incident at Ulta Beauty on Military Road.

WARRANT EXECUTED: Police were called to Sandhu Express Mart on Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a suspicious male. They immediately recognized the suspect as a frequent flyer wanted on an outstanding warrant. The suspect asked to go in the bathroom and use his Suboxone, a request police denied. The suspect then became argumentative and fought with police who took him into custody. In addition to the warrant, the suspect was charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. An officer was injured in the incident.

SHOPLIFTING WHILE DRUNK: Police were called to Rainbow on Portage Road at about 1:09 p.m. Saturday for a report of a drunken shoplifter. The Buffalo man entered the store seeking change and, when denied, said “I’m gonna steal this shit” which he did grabbing 14 items valued at $145.45 and fleeing. The suspect threw the clothing in a puddle and fled into Dollar Tree where he was located and charged with petit larceny and criminal mischief.
