It’s going to be hot today but you can still have fun today.
Meet at Whirlpool State Park at 9:45 a.m. to head to the stairs at 10 a.m. and walk to the flats or, if you like, turn right and make the trip to Devil’s Hole.
The community engagement walk is being hosted at 10 a.m. Saturdays by Uniquia Lewis. Please join. All are welcome. Take your time. It’s a journey, not a race.
Also, Saturday and Sunday this weekend is the annual Lewiston Art Festival on Center Street in our favorite village.
Don't forget the Lewiston Artisan Farm Market as well. Get some FJZ Bread, try out a Freddie or a Betty from Wandering Gypsy Brewing and stop by Senek Farms and buy some soap in Amy's memorty while it lasts.
Look for Beth and I late afternoon volunteering in the information booth. The event is hosted by the Lewiston Council on the Arts. If you aren’t a member you should be. Visit artcouncil.org to sign up.

Not so sure about 90%, but those tournaments which target the out of towners spend a pretty penny when they're here between lodging and meals during the off season. Hockey is arguably the most expensive sport to play and the parents of kids on these travel teams are generally pretty well off.
