TRESPASSING: An Ashland Avenue man was found trespassing in a staircase on the 8th floor of the Hotel Niagara after police were dispatched to investigate a report of a burglary in progress at about 7:51 p.m. Tuesday. The hotel is scheduled for restoration. The only sign of hope so far is the electric is back on so the lobby is lit at night.
TIRES TAKEN: A Mackenna Avenue business owner reported the theft of 3 truck tires valued at $500 from a commercial property.
FLEEING DRIVER: Police on patrol at 13th and Pierce reported attempting to execute a traffic stop at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. The driver fled the scene and evaded capture. The vehicle, a rental from Enterprise on Niagara Falls Boulevard, was impounded.
