The Aquarium of Niagara’s free annual community festival is doubling as a birthday bash in honor of the Aquarium’s 60th anniversary from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today.
Party on the Plaza transforms the Aquarium’s public outdoor space, Whirlpool Commons, into an epicenter for fun, family-friendly activities, community resources, and summer celebrations. The event, which is in its fourth year, welcomes more than 500 people of all ages each year. Party on the Plaza 2025 is generously sponsored by Niagara Falls State Park.
Visuals and offerings to include:
• New this year: stilt walkers and hula hoopers
• DJ and photo booth
• Aquarium ambassador animals
• Face painting and glitter tattoos
• Dunk tank featuring Aquarium President & CEO Chad Fifer and other
stakeholders
• Ice cream
• Representatives from more than 15 community partners
Note: Party on the Plaza is an outdoor event that does not include admission to the Aquarium of Niagara. Both the Aquarium’s Main Building and Great Lakes 360 will close at 3pm the day of the event.
