Hospital update

Niagara Falls Memorial was getting cooler Saturday night thanks to the replacement of a pump in the air conditioning system.

Patients were told the hospital could not just max out the newly repaired system but had to ease into it to be sure everything worked as it should.

The projected high temp today is 88 degrees. I hope the system holds up.

Air conditioning was out from some time Wednesday until Saturday evening thanks to the failure of a pump in the air conditioning system that failed while still under warranty.

Community activist Jill Shaw contacted Home Depot on Friday about the crisis and secured a donation of 80 box fans Friday night.
