Take a hike

Uniquia Lewis led her first community engagement walk at 10 a.m. Saturday.

We had a bit of confusion about the start place but eventually found our way down the stairs and to the flats.

The good thing is that we did it and, if you come at 10 a.m. next Saturday, you can too.

We would be a stronger, more vibrant community if we all spent more time sharing in our wonderful community assets.

Consider as you walk in our glorious nature that, as you look across the gorge to over-developed, overbuilt Canada you can go there instead and pay $15 to park and $25 to walk with 300 of your closest friends.

That or you can take the smart route and join us next week for free. We might see 20 people on the trail and it is free.
