DRUNK AND DISORDERLY: Police serving a warrant in the area of 10th Street near Niagara Falls Memorial at about 5:50 p.m. Tuesday were approached by several people who reported someone blocking traffic and ransacking cars. They tracked down the individual who was blocking traffic in both directions, stumbling and drunk. The North Tonawanda man was taken into custody on a charge of disorderly conduct/obstructing traffic.
FREQUENT FLYER: The aggressive panhandler on Pine Avenue was at it again at about 1:15 p.m. Thursday standing in the McDonald’s drive through. He has been previously trespassed from McDonald’s and was taken into custody and charged with trespassing.
DEJA VU: The same suspect was back on Pine Avenue at about 5:30 Thursday, aggressively panhandling near Frankie’s. He was charged with aggressive panhandling/soliciting and taken into custody. He was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
DWI: A Woodlawn Avenue man was charged with DWI 1st on 61st Street in Niagara Falls at about 7:15 p.m. Thursday after his wife called police to report he was driving around drinking Twisted Tea. Among the things the suspect said was “not intoxicated. Just a buzz, not enough where I can’t drive.” The suspect failed one field sobriety test, couldn’t complete others and refused a chemical test.
