The trouble in Los Angeles is manufactured. There is no real crisis. California’s murder rate is 3x less than Oklahoma and 40% of Alabama. Its economy is the 4th largest in the world. The MAGA bluster will serve two purposes: 1) It gives the President talking points for his birthday parade. 2) It gives a bully pulpit to Gov. Gavin Newsom who suddenly seems like a viable candidate for President. Here’s how Fox News leaned into the trouble this morning.
