Celebrate Eliza Klieg’s birthday

Hello, everyone! We are just over a week away from Eliza’s birthday, and I’d like to cover some information about our informal event:

1. I will be at the covered pavilion next to the Deveaux Woods Dog Park at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 18. Please meet at this location. Parking is available at the dog park or along the road at the playground.

2. As is tradition, we’ll tell the story of Eliza Keig’s life (I’m bringing the binder & visual aides!) After the discussion, we’ll begin our walk into the woods to Eliza’s gravesite.

3. There will be some form of cake (again), and we’ll end the gathering by singing Happy Birthday at the site. 

4. A courtesy reminder that this event is being hosted by me, and has no affiliation with the State Park. Please follow all park rules during your time here.

5. If you know anything about Eliza Keig, have done your own research, or have something you’d like to share, please do! Even if you are unable to make it to the event, feel free to message me directly. I’ve worked hard to get as much info as possible, but I’m always looking to fill in more details about Eliza’s life.
