VANDALISM: Police were called to a Niagara Avenue address at about 8:20 a.m. Wednesday to investigate a complaint of vandalism to a privacy fence that was spraypainted, scuffed with a basketball and partially collapsed. Damage, attributed to teenagers, was estimated at $200.
THEFT: A resident of a 17th Street group residence reported the theft of a MacBook Air valued at $1,700.
PETIT LARCENY: A 25th Street resident was arrested at Portage Road Tops at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with petit larceny for allegedly taking groceries valued at about $119 without paying.
ROBBERY: Police were called to Pine Avenue Subway at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a robbery. A storeworker reported a man came in and took about $50 in drinks from a cooler. As he loaded a bag with drinks, she asked what he was doing and started to come around the counter. He said “don’t come around the counter. I have a knife.” The investigation is continuing. There is video.
VANDALISM: A Pierce Avenue resident reported at 11:15 a.m. Monday, a man and woman came to his home, banged on the front door with hands and sticks, smashed the window and attempted to recover their mother’s credit card. The victim said he knows the woman but does not have her card.
