MAN WITH A GUN: Police were called to 1325 Pierce Ave. for a report of a man brandishing a gun at about 6 p.m. Wednesday. Police arrived on the scene, observed the suspect, who was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant and ordered him to put his hands up. Rather than complying, he fled inside a house. Police gave chase as the suspect attempted to escape. He was captured and charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. The firearm was not recovered.
