Packed council agenda
A packed agenda is ready to go for Wednesday for the Niagara Falls City Council.
Items include awarding bids for the purchase of 3 new trailers and a compactor for the DPW.
Award of a bid for mowing and brush clearing of city properties to K.J. Smith Enterprises.
Approval of Davis Ulmer Sprinklers to install fire protection controls and equipment at the to-be-constructed new public works Pre-engineered Metal Building.
Authorizing the Mayor to enter into construction and engineering agreements for Year 1 of the Greenway funded park improvement program. The agenda item appears to be the one that was delayed two weeks ago because no one from the administration was present to answer a simple question.
Approval of the resolution was delayed because wording on the memo made it appear as if windows and doors were going into the new dog shelter. The improvements are on an adjacent building used for mowers and lawncare equipment. The site was misidentified. The delay was caused by administrative incompetence.
