CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Police were called to an address in the 2900 block of 9th Street at about 2 a.m. Sunday for a report someone smashed a car window with a brick.
ATTEMPTED THEFT: Sometime overnight on Sunday, someone broke into the Rent-a-Center delivery truck on Pine Avenue and attempted to steal it, damaging the door handle and the steering column. The value of the damage was estimated at $700.
STOLEN ATVS: A resident of the 100 block of 63rd Street near Buffalo Avenue reported someone entered her yard and took 3 ATVs early last Wednesday morning. The homeowner recovered two of the vehicles in a nearby field but one is still missing.
PURSE TAKEN: A woman purchased items to consolidate her purse and daughter’s backpack at about noon Sunday at Walmart. Someone took the items, including $200 in cash and her daughter’s I-phone from a shopping cart.
WELFARE CHECK: Police were completing a welfare check on Monroe Avenue on Sunday when they knew to be wanted on a warrant for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
