Beautification commission is better together

Last Thursday the Niagara Express had the pleasure of attending “Stronger Together in 2025!” a networking event funded by Springboard for the Arts and sponsored by the Niagara Beautification Commission at the Underground Railroad Heritage Museum.

The idea was for nonprofit organizations working for the betterment of Niagara Falls to come together, share missions and learn about redundancies because many hands make lighter work.

Laura Chenault, NBC chairperson, would have been happy with 10 or 15. Instead, there were almost 30 sharing food, fellowship and ways to work together, strategically mixed so people who didn’t know each other changed that.

The event was such a success there is now talk of creating similar events multiple times a year.

The event was catered by Simply Soul and despite the bad weather Niagara Falls showed up at the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center.
