TRAFFIC STOP: A vehicle traveling 58 in a 35 zone on Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 5:45 p.m. Monday. The 54-year old driver, a 19th Street resident, was charged with no insurance, operating with a suspended registration and speeding.

DWI CRASH: Police were called to the area of 418 21st St. at 11:20 p.m. Monday for a report of a rollover crash. The 72-year-old driver of a red Ford van was still inside the vehicle which was on its side, sitting on the passenger side door. Police observed a liquor bottle and beer can inside the vehicle. The driver seemed lethargic and unaware. He was removed through the windshield. Police observed the stench of alcohol. The van had switched place and a registration from another vehicle. The driver was charged with driving an unregistered vehicle with improper plates, no insurance, DWI, alcohol/cannabis in a vehicle, moving from a lane unsafely, seatbelt violation and failure to notify of an address change.

TRAFFIC STOP: Officers on patrol on Pierce Avenue at about 12:20 p.m. Friday observed a vehicle without an inspection and executed a traffic stop. The driver had a suspended license, no inspection, no registration and no insurance.

PARKED IN THE FIRE LANE: Police observing the Walmart parking lot observed a vehicle in the fire lane at about 4:50 p.m. Friday. The driver, a 21-year-old 16th Street resident, said her father had taken care of the insurance and registration. The car had a fake temporary license plate. She presented in invalid insurance card. She was charged with no insurance, no registration and following a fire truck too closely.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Police were called to Linwood Avenue at 5:30 a.m. Saturday where there was reportedly a disturbance. A 24-year-old Orleans Avenue resident was at the center of a large group of people gathered. Distraught neighbors were nearby. The suspect was asked to calm down and failed to comply. When police told him to put his hands behind his back because he was under arrest, he fled on foot. Police chased him down and charged him with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.

TRAFFIC STOP: Officers observed a vehicle without plates on Rainbow Boulevard at about 2:12 p.m. Saturday and executed a traffic stop. The driver, a South Carolina resident, said he was transporting the vehicle from Boston, Mass. to Wisconsin. He was charged with no inspection, no insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle and failure to display a plate.

TRAFFIC STOP: Police patrolling on Walnut Avenue observed a Ford Fiesta bearing plates registered to a BMW at about midnight Saturday and executed a traffic stop. A 65-year-old Ferry Avenue resident was charged with no inspection, no registration, operating an unregistered vehicle and improper plates.
