STOLEN CAR: A resident of the 400 block of 70th St. reported the theft of his 2019 Hyundai sometime between 3 and 6 a.m. Tuesday.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A resident of the 800 block of 80th Street reported someone smashed a rear window and damaged the ignition on his Kia sometime between Sunday and Tuesday.

ORDER OF PROTECTION: Officers were called to a Cayuga Drive residence Tuesday afternoon after a person with an order of protection called to complain Michael Craig, 56, of 9309 Cayuga had ridden by on a bicycle and, according to the police report said “I will beat your fuckin gass. I only have 6 days left in this house. I will fucking kill you.” Police attempted to contact Craig at his residence, but he refused to cooperate. They later observed him walking on Niagara Falls Boulevard near Denny’s. He went inside and hid in the bathroom. They waited him out. When police asked him to separate his feet for a patdown prior to taking him into custody, he turned his head and spit in an officer’s face. They took him into custody with force and charged him with 1st degree contempt and menacing.

MENACING WITH A WEAPON: Officers were called to Ofarrell Motors on Pine Avenue at about 8:55 a.m. Monday. Robert Williams, 51, of 1347 ½ Pierce Ave. was on the ground under the control of 2 officers when the report writer arrived. The complainant reported Williams had come at him with a piece of exhaust pipe. Williams had been asked to clean the shop and was found sleeping on the job. When asked to leave, he became irate and aggressive, threatening to beat the complainant who asked to press charges and for an order of protection. Williams was charged with 2nd degree menacing with a weapon.

TRAFFIC STOP: Officers on patrol on the 1900 block of Niagara Street at about 9 p.m. Monday were alerted by a license plate reader to a vehicle with a suspended registration and no insurance. Brianna Hilson, 28, of 4300 Pine Ave. was charged.

SHOPLIFTER: A Falls cop moonlighting as Walmart security was alerted to potential shoplifters at 3:15 p.m. Monday. A couple were seen pushing a shopping cart filled with goods out the door and toward Sam’s Club. Joseph Farrel, 18, of Lockport and his companion who was not identified on the police report, were charged with 4th degree grand larceny. The items allegedly taken were valued at $1008.62.

SPEEDING: An officer on DWI patrol on Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday saw a car go by at 54 in a 40 and pulled it over. The driver asked “what was it, a plate reader?” Lori Winn, 58, of 432 A Street in Niagara Falls was charged with failure to deliver a license, operating a motor vehicle with license and registration suspended, operating a vehicle without insurance and speeding.

TRAFFIC STOP: An officer patrolling on Cudabeck Avenue observed a Jeep with improper plates at about 2:05 a.m. Tuesday. Desmond Grant, 65, of Cudabeck Avenue was charged with improper plates, operating an unregistered vehicle, no insurance, no inspection, inadequate tail lamp, improper license and no license.
