Niagara Falls Police Blotter
ASSAULT: A medical professional attempting to assist with a mental health evaluation at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital at 9:10 a.m. Friday was punched in the face by Diego Santos, 57, of 622 27th St. Niagara Falls who was charged with felony assault.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Officers were called to investigate criminal mischief at Portage Road Family Dollar. Whitney Willis, 27, of 1718 Ashland Ave. had been removed from the store earlier in the Friday night was charged with criminal mischief. She allegedly used a glass bottle to cause $300 damage to a window.
ARGUMENT: Police were called to the vicinity of Key Bank on Niagara Falls Boulevard for a report of an argument. Stuart Pryce, 57, of 624 15th St. was taken into custody and turned over to Erie County Sheriffs on an outstanding warrant.
NOT STOLEN VEHICLE: Officers on patrol near 15th Street and Ferry Avenue at about 4:50 p.m. Saturday observed a truck stopped and blocking traffic and executed a traffic stop. Initially the F-150 came back as stolen. The driver, Kevin Randall, 63, of 1505 Ferry Avenue was arrested and charged with driving with no license and failing to maintain a minimum speed limit. Buffalo Police admitted they forgot to remove the vehicle from the reported stolen list.
ASLEEP WITH A GUN: Officers were called to Ontario Avenue and Lockport Street at about 4 a.m. Sunday where a vehicle was blocking the intersection with the occupants asleep. Wilfredo Borges, 21, of 934 Fairfield Ave. was ordered from the vehicle and was observed putting unknown items in the pocket of his hoodie. He passed field sobriety tests at the police station but was found to have a firearm tucked in his waistband and was charged with felony criminal possession of a loaded firearm and acting in a manner injurious to a child younger than 17.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Antonio Sander, 58, of 2302 Niagara St. was charged with petit larceny at about 10:50 a.m. Sunday after he was caught allegedly attempting to take two shower curtains from Portage Road Family Dollar.
TRAFFIC STOP: Alicia Burgo, 36, of 1922 Whitney Ave. was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, operating without insurance and driving with a suspended registration after her plate was scanned by an automatic plate reader.
