SHOPLIFTING: A Falls officer working off duty at Walmart at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 was alerted to a pair of females working in concert placing items in handbags. Kalitia Maddox, 29, of Cheektowaga and Shawndrina Hicks, 40, of Orchard Park were charged with petit larceny. Hicks allegedly said to police “I took school clothes for my kids.” Items taken were valued at $300. Both were charged with burglary and petit larceny.

PUNCHED: A man went to the doors of the public safety building for court and did not realize there was a line early Friday morning. Another court attendee punched him in the face. He was brought to the rear of the line and, after his court date, filed a police report.

STOLEN HARLEY: A 1983 Harley Davidson was reported stolen from a 22nd Street garage sometime in the last few weeks. There was no sign of forced entry. The bike had not been ridden since 2010. Whomever took it likely needed a tow.

SHOPLIFTING: A Falls officer working off duty at Walmart at 8:30 p.m. Friday was told an employee confronted a suspected shoplifter who spit at them and walked out, refusing to stop. The investigation is continuing.

TRAFFIC STOP: An officer on patrol on LaSalle Avenue at about 9 p.m. Friday was passed by a vehicle with a headlight out and ran the plates finding no insurance. A man named Deonta (name redacted) was issued 5 V&T tickets.

BUSTED WINDOW: Someone broke the rear window of a Kia Soul Saturday overnight on 84th Street. Nothing was taken.

TRAFFIC STOP: A plate reader alerted police to a suspended registration at about 4:45 p.m. Saturday near 1300 Military Road. Montriel Humble, 21, of Rochester was arrested on charges of no insurance, suspended registration, no license, no inspection, no license and operating a vehicle with a broken window.

TRAFFIC STOP: An officer patrolling Whirlpool Street at 3 a.m. Sunday observed a Camaro with a suspended registration and executed a traffic stop. Tyrell Lynch, 36, of 524 10th St. was charged with driving with a suspended registration.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Cory Cox, 37, of 2263 Falls St. was charged with criminal mischief after allegedly breaking a window at a Pine Avenue address at about 6 a.m. Sunday.

DWI: Police on patrol near 600 19th St. at about 8 p.m. Sunday observed a Suburban speeding and confirmed with radar it was traveling 48 mph in a 30 mph zone and executed a traffic stop. Todd Kraft, 37, of 421 24th St. did not pull over immediately, continuing to near the Coastal station. Kraft told police he did not have a license. Police reported Kraft said “I had a couple drinks from the casino.” Asked if he was intoxicated, Kraft said “probably am.” Kraft refused a breath test and was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation alcohol, imprudent speed, DWI with a previous conviction within 10 years, and circumventing an ignition interlock device.

STOLEN KIA: A resident of the 8400 block of Buffalo Avenue reported the theft of a 2020 Kia Soul valued at $18,000 sometime early Tuesday morning.

TRAFFIC STOP: A vehicle was observed traveling on Lockport Street with no front license plate at about 10:20 p.m. Monday. Gary Harris, 56, of 724 15th St. was charged with operating with a single plate, no insurance, operating with a suspended registration, improper plates and no convex mirror.
