Car fire on Third Street
Patrons at Wine on Third Friday night got a bit of a show when a car parked on the street caught fire parked in front of the events space near the liquor store.
An employee of Third Street liquors emptied two fire extinguishers into the car before police showed.
Five minutes later, firefighters were there. It took them about 15 minutes to fully extinguish the blaze. The Chevy Impala appeared to be a total loss.
Rick Pfeiffer and Nick Sabato heard the commotion from the Third floor of the Gazette and came outside for a look-see but nothing made the paper.
