United Way offers new way to donate
Subscription-based donating aligns with modern giving trends
United Way of Greater Niagara is has launched subscription-based donating, UWGN+, reflecting the evolving preference of today’s donors.
This approach aims to provide a more sustainable and predictable revenue stream, ensuring continuous support for the vital programs and services United Way funds throughout the region.
“In today’s world, people are accustomed to the convenience and consistency of subscription services,” said Andrea Gray, President & CEO of United Way of Greater Niagara. “By offering a subscription-based donation option, we’re aligning with these modern habits and providing our supporters with a seamless way to make a lasting impact,” said Gray.
While the agency will continue with payroll deduction and one-time giving, offering a subscription option will appeal to those who prefer automated, recurring payments. Other key benefits include increased donor retention, enhanced donor engagement, and operational efficiency.
