PETIT LARCENY: An off-duty Niagara Falls officer, working security at Walmart was brought into the security office to observe a video of a customer failing to self-scan items as she checked out at about 11:03 a.m. Friday. Unscanned items valued at $31.30 were identified. Julie Freund, 62, of Ontario was charged with petit larceny.
SOAP CRIME: Store security observed a woman pouring together two bottles of laundry detergent and putting the empty bottle back on the shelf at about 3:20 p.m. Friday. Keyshona Ivys, 24, of 2261 Ontario Ave. was charged with petit larceny.
SHOPLIFTING: An off-duty Niagara Falls officer, working security at Walmart at about 5:30 p.m. Friday when Christine Munoz, 45, of Grand Island was allegedly observed failing to scan multiple items valued at a total of almost $248. She was arrested and charged with petit larceny.
SHOPLIFTING: An off-duty Niagara Falls officer, working security at Walmart at about 7:20 p.m. Friday observed two people attempting to leave the store without paying for items valued at almost $1,563. Jessica Fay, 22, of 1965 Welch Ave. and Andre Patrick, 37, of 8407 Frontier Ave. were charged with petit larceny.
SHOPLIFTING: An off-duty Niagara Falls officer, working security at Walmart at about 9:45 p.m. Friday when Safin Ahmed, 28, of Grand Island was allegedly observed attempting to leave the store without paying for a scooter valued at $348. He was charged with petit larceny.
SHOPLIFTING: An off-duty Niagara Falls officer, working security at Walmart at about 10:45 a.m. Saturday was called to the self-checkout where a customer was allegedly attempting to leave the store without paying for cheese and bologna valued at $12.45. Susan Roundtree, 55, of 2725 Niagara St. was charged with petit larceny.
SHOPLIFTING: An off-duty Niagara Falls officer, working security at Walmart at about 4:45 p.m. Saturday was alerted to a pair of women loading items in a motorized cart and leaving without paying. Cherish Payne, 19, of 1511 Willow Ave. and Jamela Ward, 20, of 481 17th St. were charged with petit larceny.
SHOPLIFTER: An off-duty Niagara Falls officer, working security at Walmart at about 5:40 p.m. Saturday was alerted to a man and woman allegedly working in concert to steal items by placing them in her purse. Reyanne Duval, 28, of Grand Island and Clinton Foster, 21, of Buffalo were charged with petit larceny.
PETIT LARCENY: Police responded to the area of Save-a-Lot on Pine Avenue for a report of petit larceny. They allegedly observed Kyle Sullivan, 34, of 608 20th Street attempting to sell stolen lunchmeat in the parking lot. He was arrested on a charge of petit larceny.
