LARCENY: A roofer doing work at Niagara Riverside Resort on Buffalo Avenue reported someone stole a pallet of pressure-treated lumber values at $1,600 and left on the jobsite Thursday/Friday overnight.
EBAY FRAUD: A Falls resident reported purchasing Post It notes valued at almost $2,600 on Ebay and never receiving delivery. EBay asked him to file a police report.
BURGLARY: A Porter Road resident reported someone went through cars and entered and stole electronic items from their residence sometime early Friday morning. Items taken were valued at $2,150.
TRAFFIC STOP: A Mercury traveling on Cleveland Avenue at about 8:54 p.m. Friday was observed operating with only one headlight. Police executed a traffic stop and Trevon McDougald, 23, of 9455 Niagara Falls Blvd. with no inspection, operating an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance in addition to improper plates and an equipment violation.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Hyde Park resident reported someone smashed the windshield on his car parked in the alley Friday/Saturday overnight.
BURGLARY: A Walnut Avenue resident reported someone entered her residence, stole her car keys and vehicle. She used the GM Onstar app to locate the Silverado in a nearby alley and took it back.
BURGLARY: A Grand Avenue resident reported sometime early Sunday morning someone entered her residence through a side window, stole her purse from next to her bed and a milk jug from the kitchen without waking up her or her boyfriend.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Grove Avenue resident reported sometime late Sunday night someone entered his rental vehicle, tampered with the dash, took the registration and inspection stickers as well as a knife valued at $10.
