UNWANTED PERSON: George Clark, 68, 0f 1658 Clark Ave. was arrested at Main and Linwood at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday after allegedly causing a scene at DiCamillo’s. Clark was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest.
TRAFFIC STOP: Police on patrol on Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 6:38 p.m. Wednesday observed a Mercedes with suspended registration and executed a traffic stop. Macias Martinez, 20, of Niagara Avenue was charged with driving with a suspended registration, aggravated unlicensed operation, failure to produce a drivers license, no insurance and failure to notify of an address change.
HIT-AND-RUN: A parked car was rear ended on 17th Street at about 2:11 a.m. Sunday by a Mercedes that left part of its bumper and hood ornament and leaked fluid. Officers tracked the fluid and video of a suspect car before and after the crash and tracked down the owner who said his cousin had been driving. Michael Cox, 68, no address given, called police later to say he was the driver and crashed because of a problem with his oxygen tank. He was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, following too closely and additional charges.
UNWANTED PERSON: Officers were called to Community Missions at 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning for a report of an unwanted person. Kevin Spellman, 38, homeless, allegedly told officers to “fuck off” numerous times. He was charged with criminal trespass.
RESISTING ARREST: Jasmin Winkfield, 37, of 2211 Michigan Ave. was charged with resisting arrest at about 10:15 a.m. Thursday. She visited the police station for help regarding a missing phone when the desk officer noticed an outstanding warrant. Winkfield told police she had just been in court and became irate and profane, allegedly telling police “I am not going to jail. You are going to have to beat my ass” among other things. She was charged with resisting arrest.
SHOPLIFTING: Anthony Sciandra, 31, homeless, was arrested at Walmart at 12:20 p.m. Thursday and charged with petit larceny after he allegedly took candy and hair dye without paying.
PETIT LARCENY: Officers were called to Tops Niagara Falls Boulevard for a report of petit larceny at about 1:15 p.m. Thursday. Darain Cruz-Rodriguez, 31, of Packard Court, allegedly attempted to take steak valued at $38.12 without paying.
ROBBERY: Kevin Spellman, 38, was charged with robbery and petit larceny after he allegedly entered One Stop convenience store at 1055 Cleveland Ave. at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday and left with a beer and juice without paying over the protests of the store owner.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A dispute at Jaco’s Pizza on Buffalo Avenue resulted in police being called at about 8:40 p.m. Thursday. Talaysia Brady, 27, of 508 87th St. allegedly threw a potted plant, spit on the front door and damaged a plastic hanging rod. She was charged with criminal mischief.
BROTHER DISPUTE: Officers were called to 2222 Walnut Avenue for a report of a fight at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Felix Riley, 31, of that address was involved in a dispute and in the process of moving out. He allegedly threw a punch at his brother in front of officers and was charged with harassment.
KNIFE FIGHT: Officers investigated an assault involving multiple knives shortly after 9 a.m. Friday at a Devlin Avenue address. James Rhodes, 39, of Rochester was taken into custody on a charge of felony assault. Three victims were injured.
DWI: Police were called to the 3900 block of Buffalo Avenue at about 1 p.m. Friday for a report of a disabled vehicle, a 2017 Lincoln with 2 flat tires. The driver, Dwayne Walker, 54, of 11:40 Fairfield Ave. was allegedly slurring his words and told police he didn’t know what happened. He was charged with DWI, moving from a lane unsafely and a license-related charge.
THEFT OF SERVICES: Sara Landen, 44, of 3516 Walnut Ave. was charged with failure to pay service based on stealth after she could not find a means to pay a bill at the Hyatt Place on Rainbow Boulevard.
TRAFFIC STOP: Officers on GIVE patrol stopped a vehicle for excessively tinted windows at about 12:02 p.m. Saturday. A passenger immediately exited the vehicle and fled with a large bulge visible in his pants. Police pursued, yelling “taser taser taser” which caused the suspect to trip, fall and be taken into custody. Keyon Lightfoot, 27, of 1037 Garden Ave. was charged with resisting arrest. A quantity of suspected narcotics was confiscated. Derek Stewart, 40, of 638 Orchard Parkway was charged with excessively tinted windows.
PETIT LARCENY: Alyssa Bender, 34, of 1885 Cleveland Ave. allegedly attempted to exchange several items from racks at Walmart for others for which she did not pay. She was charged with petit larceny.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Kyle Lorence, 59, homeless, was charged with disorderly conduct outside the Marketside Restaurant and held for the judge because of multiple outstanding warrants.
