TRAFFIC STOP: Officers on patrol observed a Jeep operating without a front plate at about 1:51 p.m. Monday and executed a traffic stop. Stephanie Grant, 37, of 1506 Walnut Ave. was charged with operating an unregistered vehicle, no insurance, no license and improper plates.
TENANT FIGHT: A resident of 6th Street said he was drinking a beer at about 10:30 Monday when he was asked for beer by Lorrie Singh, 52, of 6th Street. He said when he said no, she hit him in the side of the head with a beer bottle. Police knocked on Singh’s door and asked her what happened. She alleged the victim asked her for a lewd activity and so she hit him. She was charged with assault with a weapon.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A woman said she got in an argument over a parking spot at about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday before going inside to shop. When she returned, her vehicle had been keyed.
TRAFFIC STOP: Officers on patrol on 56th Street at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday reported a vehicle operating with a suspended registration. Robert Schultz, 22, of 633 70th St. was charged with operating with license/registration suspended, no insurance and aggravated unlicensed operation.
ANGRY DRIVER: Police observed a vehicle without insurance on Builders Way at about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday. Mohammed Berry, 31, of 1443 Fort Ave. reported he just received the vehicle from his cousin and it was insured as of today. When he was told it was being towed, he became irate. He was charged with suspended registration, no insurance and disorderly conduct/obstructing traffic.
STOLEN VEHICLE: A Tronolone Place resident loaned her car to a “friend” Monday and called police to complain it was not returned. She did not know her friend’s last name. Police are investigating it as a stolen vehicle.
