CAR SCRATCHED: A resident of the 600 block of of 15th Street reported someone scratched his girlfriend’s car which was parked in the alley Thursday night.

LARCENY: A resident of the 1500 block of North Avenue reported the theft of an electric bike off his porch sometime between 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.

DWI: Police on two-man DWI patrol in the 900 block of Hyde Park Boulevard at about 7:40 p.m. Saturday observed a vehicle pass a redlight at Pine Avenue and initiated a traffic stop. Police observed two cold 8-ounce Blue Lights inside the car. Dennis Misko, 55, of Huth Road, Grand Island said he was headed to a Hyde Park pizzeria. He failed field sobriety tests and blew a BAC of .154%. Misko was charged with DWI, operating a vehicle with a BAC greater than .08% and passing a Website.

VEHICLE BURGLARIZED: A family parked their vehicle at Comfort Inn at the Point and went to watch the fireworks at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday. When they returned, a camera, Macbook, and jewelry valued collectively at more than $5,000 were taken.

FIREWORK FIRE: Police responded to the 600 block of 24th Street early Sunday morning for a report of a recycling bin damaged by fireworks. Firefighters put out the blaze. The can was partially melted.

BURGLARY: Someone attempted to break into restaurant on Pine Avenue at about 1:50 a.m. Sunday. Entry was not made. Damage was estimated at $600. The suspect was seen but escaped over a back fence into a Grand Avenue backyard.

NEIGHBOR DISPUTE: Police were called to a Haeberle Avenue address for a report of a neighbor dispute. Miranda Walerowicz, 24, allegedly kicked in her downstairs neighbor’s door. She was charged with criminal mischief at about 2:44 a.m. Sunday.

ROBBERY: Police were called back to the same Haeberle Ave. address at 5:40 a.m. Sunday after the resident said two black men brandishing firearms came to the property looking for Walerowicz’s phone. Told officers were on the way, the suspects allegedly said “I don’t give a fuck about the police” and “I’m gunna shoot.” Fabio Davis, 24, of 4849 University Ave. was arrested and charged with felony burglary displaying a firearm, 2nd degree menacing and felony criminal possession of a firearm.

CONVERTER THEFTS: A catalytic converter was stolen from 2 vehicles parked behind Super 8 Motel on Saturday night overnight. A converter was stolen from a vehicle at Quality Inn.

PORCH PIRATE: A resident of the 1300 block of Willow Avenue reported a black male on a bike towing a small trailer stole a package off his porch early Sunday morning.

SHOPLIFTER: Chelsea Gratto, 26, homeless, was arrested on a charge of petit larceny at about 5:25 p.m. Sunday. She allegedly attempted to take merchandise valued at about $114.

PUNCHED: Officers were called to 402 Niagara St. at about 1:10 a.m. Monday where a woman sitting on the curb said a woman punched her in the face and then rode off on a bicycle.

FIGHT: A young man who attended a party at The Atmosphere on Main Street went to Mount St. Mary’s ER for a stab wound to the hand at about 3 a.m. Friday. He was wounded after he intervened in a fight involving his brother.

BROKEN WINDOW: A Niagara Avenue resident reported a var window smashed at about 6:20 p.m. Friday.
