CONVERTER THEFT: A resident of the 500 block of 29th Street reported Monday/Tuesday overnight someone stole the catalytic converter off his GMC Terrain. Damage was estimated at $160.

SHOTS FIRED: Police responded to the 1700 block of Pierce Ave. where a report of shots fired was received at about 8:35 p.m. Wednesday. A resident reported she saw a group of of about 15 people arguing in front of her home. A few minutes later, she heard 4 gunshots come from in front of her house. She said she retreated to the rear of her home for safety. When she returned to look outside, the group was fleeing the scene. Her vehicle was struck in the side windows and door. Damage was placed at $500.

BURGLARY: Police were called to an address in the 2700 block of LaSalle Ave. where a resident reported someone broke into his garage and stole a lawnmower and weedwacker sometime Wednesday afternoon.

TRAFFIC STOP: Officers executed a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Pine Avenue with a headlight out at 2:50 a.m. Thursday. Jayla Dexter, 23, of 2009 18th St. told police she was doing DoorDash. She was charged with operating without insurance, driving without a license and an equipment violation.
