GRAND LARCENY: A wallet containing credit cards was taken from an unlocked vehicle at address in the 500 block of 74th St. Monday/Tuesday overnight.

SQUATTERS: Police responded to a 22nd Street address for a report of trespassers and located Christopher Glenn, 43 and Jason Meden, 43, in the garage on the property. Both were charged with trespass. The house in question has been the site of squatter incidents.

ROBBERY: Abdullah Omar, 26, of 1825 Pine Ave. was charged with 2nd degree robbery and harassment following an incident outside a store near that address at about 1 p.m. Tuesday.

MOWER THEFT: A garage was entered and a mower taken on Whitney Avenue alley sometime Tuesday.

SHOPLIFTING: Stacey Jarka, 43, of Grand Island, was charged with petit larceny following an incident at Niagara Falls Boulevard Tops at about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. She allegedly attempted to take good valued at $81.26 without paying.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Whitney Avenue resident reported early Tuesday evening kids playing on the street broke their apartment door handle.

SHOPLIFTING: Police were called to Builders Way at about 6:52 p.m. Tuesday after Domenique Taylor, 38, of Buffalo allegedly took items valued at $147 without paying.

TRAFFIC STOP: Police pulled over a vehicle on 19th Street for speeding and illegally tinted windows and identified the driver as Shayla Dix, 34, of 1799 Welch Avenue. Dix was charged with illegally tinted windows and driving with an expired license. She allegedly became hostile with police at the scene but was not additionally charged for allegedly calling an officer a “dickhead.”
