PETIT LARCENY: Darius Eady, 36, of 639 19th St. was charged with petit larceny after he was observed allegedly taking a patio umbrella valued at $79.99 from Portage Road Tops. Eady was on foot and was located on Pine Avenue carrying the umbrella. The incident happened at about 11:30 Tuesday morning.

SHOPLIFTING: Police responded to a report of shoplifting in progress at Home Depot at about 11:50 a.m. Tuesday. Nicholas Denardo, 27, of 99 Thomas Loop in Niagara Falls was allegedly observed removing packaging from tools and concealing them in his clothing and boots. He was arrested inside the store and charged with petit larceny. Tools valued at $273.02 were returned to the store.

FIGHT: Police responded to 608 Elmwood Ave. at about 1 a.m. Tuesday and took into custody Tizon Moreland, 22, of that address on a charge of menacing. Moreland allegedly threatened his roommate over a debt.
