Rep. Brian Higgins quit the House of Representatives early to ensure the Democratic Party could anoint State Sen. Tim Kennedy as his replacement.
That gives Kennedy a chance to trounce Republican challenger Gary Dickson, West Seneca supervisor, in a special election, without ever having to really campaign, debate, stand for anything or face a challenge.
In the middle of the race remains former Grand Island Supervisor Nathan McMurray who is outside the machine, standing up for what is right and decidedly not politically correct.
McMurray is the only one talking about how MAGA sucks, Tesla in Buffalo was a scam and Niagara Falls gets screwed by state, federal and Buffalo politicians at every turn.
Unfortunately, it feels like sound and fury signifying nothing.
