NIAGARA FALLS - Rainbow Air Helicopter Tours, the only helicopter tour company offering flights over the spectacle of Niagara Falls departing from the American side of the border, has been named as finalist in Newsweek Magazine’s Readers Poll for Best Helicopter Tour in the United States. Rainbow Air is one of 12 finalists nationwide.
Supporters are urged to visit https://www.newsweek.com/readerschoice/best-helicopter-tour to see the finalists and vote for their favorite. People can vote once per day until noon EDT on May 2. Winner will be announced on May 9.

Rainbow Air Helicopter Tours is entering its 30th season in the skies over Niagara Falls. Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world have experienced this breathtaking flight that presents magnificent vistas over the world famous waterfalls. Temporarily flying from the Niagara Falls International Airport, Rainbow Air will once again thrill passengers in 2024 while the company moves forward with plans for its future home that is expected to grow the company’s impact on the local tourism industry.
The brand-new multifunctional Rainbow Air Tourism Center will open to the public in 2025. Located on Acheson Drive off Buffalo Avenue in Niagara Falls, this new 30,000 sq. ft. center will be the new home for Rainbow Air and will present exciting new features to be available year-round.
This multi-million dollar project is being financed entirely by the company with no public funds. More details will be provided regarding a planned public unveiling of the project in May.
