WINDOW BREAKS: A woman with a Ford Edge parked on 17th Street reported she closed the trunk and the rear window shattered at about 8:12 a.m. Tuesday. She didn’t know what to do besides call police.

ILLEGAL DUMPING: Police were called to a Pierce Avenue address to investigate illegal dumping. Cars and debris were left at the property by the previous owner.

ILLEGAL DUMPING: Police were called to the 2200 block of Allen Avenue for a report of illegal dumping. Among the debris they found a name and address and items of value at about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday.

ASSAULT: A man was stabbed in the 400 block of 19th St. at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. James Jordan, 53, of 1455 Ferry Ave. was arrested and charged with menacing as well as D felony assault.

ILLEGAL VEHICLE: Jose Santiago-Cruz, age redacted, of 2420 Orleans Ave. was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, improper plates and no insurance as well as driving an unregistered vehicle after he was pulled over in the 1800 block of Pine Avenue at about 6:15 p.m.Tuesday.

ASSAULT: A man was punched in the face multiple times at about 3:35 a.m. Wednesday at an address in the 1700 block of LaSalle Ave. The victim was bleeding profusely. No one of those gathered at the scene was willing to cooperate with police.
