The Niagara Falls City Market was better in 2023 than 2022. It will be better again in 2024.
The improvements in the market began with the Restaino administration buying out the lease of Al Muto and turning management over to Field & Fork Network.
Last season brought car shows, new vendors, live music and Double Up for SNAP.
Field & Fork is hosting an informational meeting for potential new vendors at noon, Wednesday, March 27 at 779 East Market St.
There are other exciting changes in store as well, for example a $19 million state grant surrounding food entrepreneurship from Gov. Kathy Hochul being administered by USA Niagara Development will result in a complete reformation of the once-great Pine Avenue institution.
All types of vendors are welcome, including local food producers, flowers & plants, local wineries & breweries, makers & artisans, specialty foods (oils, cheese, jams/jellies, etc.), and others.
