Birds on the Niagara, the world’s only international birding festival, is this weekend.
The annual, cross-border event celebrates our Important Birding Area and the wonder of gulls.
There are 18 or 19 different gulls overwintering in the Niagara strait as well as a vast variety of ducks and even some oddball kittiwakes and the occasional godwit.
Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 69 and low of 53 degrees. Don't forget your umbrella! Fog in the morning, sunny for the afternoon, mist overnight.
Hahaha!
i keep reading that the new apts that are going to be constructed will be rented at MARKET RATE. could someone please tell me what the market rate is here in the falls? also the article says this development will have condos. how much will they cost?
"Market rate" is a euphamism for as much as possible. Ditto the cost of a condo. The whole thing is driven by the economics of a business plan. It is not simple.
