Niagara Falls Police Blotter
The Niagara Falls Police Department Narcotics Intelligence Division conducted a Search Warrant at 1881 Linwood Ave. Wednesday. The Niagara County Drug Task Force, North Tonawanda PD K9, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (Buffalo) assisted in the Search Warrant. Recovered during the search: 6.5 oz Cocaine; 3.5 grams Fentanyl; 34 white pills; 23 blotters of suspected LSD; $710 cash; a black digital scale.
The subject – Taurian Nix (age 32) was taken into custody on Outstanding Arrest Paperwork for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (B Felony). Additional criminal charges will be pending following a report from the Niagara County Crime Lab.

PLATES STOLEN: Davidson Fence reported the theft of license plates from its New Road yard on the Monday/Tuesday overnight.
THEFT OF SERVICES: A cab driver reported he spent early afternoon Tuesday driving a fare around. His passenger was selling clothing and stiffed on a $63 fare at Packard Court.
FRAUD: A Hyde Park Boulevard resident walked into the police station Monday morning to file a report over numerous fraudulent credit card charges.
BUGLARY: Police were called to Creative Liquor and Wine on Niagara Street after a neighbor observed a person leaving with a bottle of liquor at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday. The business was open and in disarray.
STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED: Police were called to Packard Road Life Storage at about 8 p.m. Tuesday after it was tracked there remotely. Cheektowaga Police were contacted and took possessio of the vehicle.
ALARM: Police responded to Connections, 1700 Main St. for an alarm at 7:44 p.m. Tuesday. An unlocked door was found. Nothing appeared damaged or taken.
WARRANT: Police observed a vehicle run a redlight on Portage Road and executed a traffic stop at about 2:12 a.m. Tuesday. Amarieona Simmons, 31, no address available was charged with no license, passing a redlight and moving from a lane unsafely. She was taken into custody on a warrant out of Depew.
