The most telling thing from Tom Bauerle and David Bellavia was the air of incredulous disbelief that rose from the announcement Wednesday afternoon that any further comment would come from New York State.
That led to disdain and disappointment because it could only mean this was a tragic accident or suicide, not an act of terror or the beginning of WWIII.
The narrative, whether from WBEN or Fox, was irresponsible.
