CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: Sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning a car window was smashed at 561 Portage Road in what appeared to be an attempted car theft.

CAR BURGLARIZED: A vehicle parked at the Giacomo was entered by someone who took the registration and a handicapped parking tag. It may have been left unlocked on the Tuesday/Wednesday overnight.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION: A vehicle being driven on Hyde Park Boulevard at about 11 a.m. Wednesday by Mellissa H. Williams was pulled over for having a suspended registration. Williams was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without a license, no inspection and driving with a suspended registration.

SUSPENDED REGISTRATION: Police observed a vehicle with no plates operating in the 2200 block of Walnut Avenue at about 1 a.m. Thursday. Amier Hunley, 21, of Niagara Falls was charged with no inspection, improper plates, operating an unregistered vehicle, no insurance and no license.

BURGLARY: Police responded to a Maryland Avenue business for the second time in two days to investigate a burglary. The business replaced stolen computers. On Tuesday, the new computers were reported stolen.
