--Mean people suck, but put the French tragedy in perspective: While more than 120 people were murdered, we lost almost 3,000 on 9/11. Still, pray for peace. http://www.msn.com/.../paris-attacked.../ar-BBmZjjH...
--The most common lament I hear from small business owners is the inability to find good employees. I hope Lexington Coop solves the problem by paying a higher wage, but I have my doubts. http://www.dailypublic.com/.../lexington-co-op-hikes-wages
--With the coronation of Judge Sedita scheduled, his assistant in the Erie County District Attorney's office, Mike Flaherty, is ready to take the reigns as DA with a focus on public corruption. It is always safer to go after public waste than to go out on a limb and, say, prosecute Amanda Wienckowski's alleged killer. Oh and County Court Judge Tim Franczyk is reportedly planning to run as well. Don't forget, it will be a heavy turnout election because of the Presidential race. I wonder if the Patrick Kane rape allegation will be a campaign issue. http://www.wgrz.com/.../flaherty-announced.../75733180/

--There are 6 species of gulls in Australia but if you pay close attention around the Niagara River, you can find around 15. --Concluded a significant piece of retirement planning with a very successful Western New York business person Friday. It empowers me to know that while it is nice to be important, it is more important to be nice and you ca be an effective leader that way
--If a cop pulls over a self-driving car for going 25 mph in a 35 mph zone, who gets the ticket? The list of imponderables is growing. http://www.npr.org/.../googles-traffic-stop-a-crash...

-- Boyd memorial collective noun: a streak of tigers.
--As I consider the evolution of the Bills ground pound over the last few games, I realized yesterday, I haven't heard much discussion of Aaron Kromer, the offensive line coach who returned from his teenager punching suspension.
--Check out the dateline on Matthew Fairburn's column --East Rutherford, NY. The Bills remain the only NFL team in New York. http://www.syracuse.com/.../did_the_buffalo_bills_need_to...
--The Sabres take a stab at going over .500 tonight. Did you notice Dave Legwand and Johann Larsson are the only two forwards not to cross the Leino line yet? You know, score a goal. (That one was for Pat Murray)
