Who knows if the Main Street district will become something again but until it does, the old Jenss building is being decorated with Polly King portraits printed in vinyl.
It offers a sense of hope and is sure better than boarded or painted windows.
I applaud the Niagara National Heritage area for the project.
It was interesting this week to drive past some of the murals with out-of-town guests from Colorado and have them remark about how impressive not only the are is but that it hasn’t been tagged with graffiti which happens within days in many places.
