Pray for peace Thursday

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community International, under the spiritual guidance of its Caliph Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has initiated the global #voicesforpeace campaign. This campaign is a call to action to end the conflict in Gaza and establish a foundation for lasting peace. Echoing this international effort, the Buffalo Chapter has announced a public interfaith Voices for Peace session.

Dr. Nasir Khan, President of the Buffalo Chapter, invites the public to join this gathering at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at Masjid Mahdi, located at 9610 Colvin Blvd. in Niagara Falls. The event is open to all individuals who share the vision of a peaceful future, regardless of faith, culture, or background.

"Let us stand together, as a community and as a voice for peace. This event is open to the public and we welcome everyone to join us," states Dr. Khan. "It is our collective effort and prayers that will pave the way towards peace and security for all."

The session is designed to be a beacon of unity, transcending political and social divides. It is an opportunity for people from all walks of life to come together in a shared mission to actively seek peace and pray for it.

The Buffalo Chapter encourages everyone to extend this invitation far and wide, emphasizing that the event is not exclusive but rather a community-wide call to action. Your participation and support are invaluable to the success of this initiative.
