On Tuesday October 24 th , 2023 the Niagara Falls Police Narcotics Intelligence
Division, along with the Buffalo DEA Task Force, Niagara County Drug Task Force, Buffalo ATF and
Lewiston PD K9, executed two search warrants on a residence and business connected to Tamar R. Copeland of Niagara Falls.
After a 10 month long joint investigation, approximately 11 ounces of suspected cocaine, two handguns, two long guns and an undetermined amount of US currency were seized. Tamar R. Copeland of Niagara Falls, 40 is facing multiple charges pending forensic analysis results.
ATTEMPTED THEFT: Someone attempted to steal a Kia Monday overnight in the Haeberle Avenue alley.
ROBBERY: A cab driver picked up a fare at Andy’s Quick Stop on Niagara Street and gave him a ride to Wedge Liquors at about 1:10 p.m. Monday where the customer allegedly said “give me your money”. The driver fought back. The customer fled without paying his $6 fare.
DWI: Police responded to a call of a suspected intoxicated driver at about 8:15 p.m. Monday on Niagara Falls Boulevard and arrested Kristin Burns, 41, of North Tonawanda on charges of DWI, aggravated DWI, and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17.
