STOLEN CAMERAS: A resident of the 400 block of 5th Street reported someone stole two cameras valued at about $100. The theft happened sometime in the last month.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A resident of the 1900 block of Lockport Street reported he found broken glass and scratches on the hood of his vehicle. The incident happened late Friday afternoon.

STOLEN CAR RECOVERED: Officers on patrol in the 1800 block of 15th Avenue at 11:45 p.m. Friday when they observed a 2019 Nissan reported stolen from Youngstown and attempted to execute a traffic stop. The vehicle fled the scene and ended up in Gluck Park. One of the two males fled the scene. Police detained the other, Arquez Woods, 20, of 529 18th St. Pending offenses include reckless driving,failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle, violating a traffic control device, criminal possession of stolen property, no seatbelt and fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle.

PARK BETTER: A 2009 Dodge Ram was towed from where it was illegally parked in front of Olin at 2400 Buffalo Ave. at about 1:14 a.m. Saturday.

DWI: Police were preparing to conduct traffic enforcement at 3 a.m. Saturday when they were notified of a vehicle being operated near Main and Michigan with a flat tire. They found a 2010 Ford Focus being driven by Julia Elizabeth Fumani, 21, of 23 Woodcrest Drive, Buffalo. She was clueless that she was driving on a rim. Her right rear wheel was angled outward. She failed numerous field sobriety tests. Eventually, she tested .023 % blood alcohol content. She was charged with DWI 1st, operating motor vehicle with a BAC more than .08% BAC and aggravated DWI per se, no prior.

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED: Officers on patrol at about 10 p.m. Friday when they found a 2019 Hyundai crashed into a porch on Virginia Avenue. An officer reached into the car, put it in park and shut off the ignition. The seats in the vehicle had been doused with lighter fluid. Police found more lighter fluid, broken glass and the vehicle’s mirrors nearby. A distraught resident returned home mid-investigation and became hysterical. She didn’t know what happened or what was was going on. Falls Police contacted Buffalo Police but the vehicle had not yet been reported stolen.

STOLEN KIA: A resident reported early Saturday morning someone stole his 2019 Kia. He used the SUV’s GPS to track it to Woodlawn Avenue. The car had $3,000 in collision damage, $1,500 to the steering column and a $300 broken window.

STOLEN HYUNDAI: A resident of the 2400 block of Michigan Avenue reported the theft of her 2014 Hyundai sometime between 7 and 11 p.m. Sunday.

STOLEN KIA: A resident of the 500 block of 17th Street reported the theft of her 2019 Kia Sorrento sometime Saturday evening.

STOLEN KIA: A 2021 Kia Forte was stolen Sunday evening from the parking lot at Seneca Niagara Casino. The theft was captured on video.

ATTEMPTED AUTO THEFT: A resident of the 600 block of 21st Street reported someone in the Friday/Saturday overnight smashed a window on his vehicle and attempted unsuccessfully to steal it, reifling the contents of the glove box, breaking a window and leaving the steering column damaged.

DRUNK AND DISORDERLY: Police responded to a call for an unwanted patron in the 7500 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard at about 6:25 p.m. Saturday. A shirtless black male allegedly threatened staff. Tiquan Dennis, 24, of 1029 92nd St. was located walking in traffic and creating a hazard. Police attempted to lure him to safety. “Fuck you, I don’t have to do shit.” He ended up with a ride to the police station and charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing traffic.

DWI: Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed at about 7 p.m. Satuday on Niagara Falls Boulevard and changing lanes without signaling. Aaron Chisolm, 62, of Cleveland, Ohio, said he’d been at Casale’s. He told police he had 1 drink but later said 3 or 4. Offered field sobriety tests he said “I won’t pass them.” He blow a .14% BAC. Charges included DWI, speed imprudent, unsafe turn/failure to signal and operating a motor vehicle with blood alcohol higher than .08%.

UNSAFE LANE CHANGES AND OBSTRUCTING: Police observed a vehicle make an unsafe lane change on Hyde Park Blvd. at about 1 a.m. Monday. The passenger in the vehicle, Michael Kreps, 30, of 2221 15th St. Niagara Falls was arrested on outstanding warrants but only after police broke the passenger window and extracted him from the vehicle. Kreps was easily identified because of a cross face tattoo as well as hand tattoos. The driver, Alexis Kurman, 28, of Pennsylvania was charged with obstructing governmental administration and unsafe lane change.
