Niagara Falls NY - Structure Fire - 426 Sixth Street

A house, reportedly being occupied by squatters, caught fire on Sixth Street Monday morning.
Around 7:30 a.m., Niagara Falls Fire responded to the 400 block of 6th Street for reports of a structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters reported heavy smoke in the air and heavy flames showing in the rear of the house.
Firefighters stretched multiple handlines and attacked the fire from the inside and outside. After the bulk of the fire was knocked down, crews began overhaul and turned their attention to hot spots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. At this time, no injuries were reported.
