Niagara Falls firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 700 block of Pine Avenue early Sunday morning.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene around 5:36am. Upon arrival, heavy fire was reported throughout the rear of the structure.
Firefighters initiated defensive operations to battle the blaze and were able to extinguish the fire a couple hours later.
As previously reported, on Nov. 3, 2022, fire crews responded to the same address for a structure fire. Following that fire, the building was condemned and utilities to the building were shut off.
The fire is under investigation but Niagara Falls Fire Chief Pedulla states that this fire was intentional. The building is slated for an emergency demolition.
