Some days are just sort of perfect.
Saturday we started with Gord and Beth at the Lewiston Artisan Farm Market. Then we hit an estate sale without buying anything.
At the market, we grabbed bread an pears.
Then we headed to the low portion of Joseph Davis State Park, a beautiful place along the Niagara River with a few disc golfers around but mostly peaceful.
Disc golf is like traditional golf only without the toxic chemical and elitist vibe.
We left and checked out Jazzfest in Lewiston. Every Lewiston festival has its own vibe. Jazzfest, like Harvest and Hops, is all about food. That said, we enjoyed a couple songs from the Cheryl Ferris Quartet.
We shared an order of Lobster Beignet’s from the Olcott Lobster Co. We have been meaning to visit there for dinner but it has to be a treat/special trip because it is pricey.
We also grabbed a beer and a seltzer and listened to some music.
Then we headed home before taking off for Niagara Falls Porchfest which is great fun.
I don’t have much news today but hey, the weather was perfect and next Saturday is Better Off Read in Lewiston.
